- Dan Baldwin: Brighton based artist Dan Baldwin creates mixed media canvases and prints inspired by Vanitas, death, politics and religion. His works feature spraypaint, emulsion, bullets, guns, real butterflies and religious icons. Baldwin intertwines these motifs with elements from politics and culture, and by presenting these opposing elements in pop candy colours both attracts and uneases the viewer. Dan Baldwin graduated from Maidstone School of Art and has since exhibited in London, Brighton, Newcastle, New York, Paris and Cologne. In 2005 he appeared on BBC2's acclaimed series The Apprentice, alongside Opus artists Rob Carter and Lucie Bennett. Baldwin has also donated work to two Red Cross charity auctions, where his work sold alongside that of Peter Blake, Billy Childish and Tracey Emin. Dan Baldwin's work has featured in publications including Dazed & Confused, ID, Elle, Living Etc., Modern Painters and The Observer Magazine.
